Hey Friend!
Nice to meet you! (Well, kind of...)
I’m Zion Brown—but feel free to call me Z—and I just want to say thanks for checking out my little slice of the internet.
A Little About Me
First and foremost, I’m a Follower of the Way of Jesus—everything I do flows from that. Currently, I serve as the Pastoral Resident & College Ministry Coordinator at Union Athens in Athens, Georgia (Go Dawgs!). My job is all about equipping college students with tools to walk out their faith during these formative years, helping form a new church plant, and preaching regularly.
My Journey
I graduated from Berry College (Hook ‘Em Vikes!) with a B.S. in Management and a minor in Religion. These days, I’m finishing up my Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS) at Reformed Theological Seminary. Long term, I feel called to plant churches, disciple & mentor, teach about spiritual formation, preach, and write books that encourage revival and awakening in the global Church.
Things I’m Passionate About
Some topics that really fire me up:
-
Biblical Manhood
-
Biblical Racial Justice & Reconciliation
-
The Heart of God as Father (aka Sonship)
-
Spiritual Formation
These aren’t just ideas to me—they’re key to seeing lives and communities transformed for the glory of God.
When I’m Not Working
When I’m not preaching, teaching, or mentoring, you can probably catch me:
-
Hitting the gym or playing sports
-
Devouring hibachi or my go-to: pepperoni-and-eggplant pizza
-
Relaxing in my recliner with a solid book
